House of Beauty was founded by Tanita Whitney and Ricky Jackson, combining two very different worlds with one shared vision.
Having known each other for over 25 years since school, we saw an opportunity to create something different — a space where beauty, business and people came together with purpose.
Tanita brought years of experience as an aesthetic practitioner with a passion for delivering exceptional client care and treatment standards. Ricky brought his background in venture building, development and business strategy.
Together, we designed House of Beauty from the ground up — not just the services, but every detail. From the colour of the door handles to the layout of the rooms, the atmosphere, and the culture we wanted to create.
Our goal was simple: to build a space where both staff and clients feel safe, valued and inspired.
Opened in December 2023, House of Beauty became a 5,000 sq ft destination bringing together some of the best in hair, aesthetics, nails, tanning, wellness and education under one roof.
Today, House of Beauty continues to grow with the same vision it started with — exceptional standards, genuine care, and a culture that puts people first.

The Donnington studio was designed from a blank slate around how clients actually move through a salon visit. Hair sits at the front, skin and aesthetic clinics in considered private rooms, lash and brow benches under controlled lighting, a dedicated tanning lounge, and a separate wing for the Academy so live training never interrupts a client appointment.
The result: a salon that feels like a flagship rather than a chair-rental, with the equipment, hygiene standards and quiet that advanced treatments demand.
Our in-house Academy delivers accredited, hands-on training programmes for working professionals and career-changers across lashes, brows, advanced skin, permanent makeup and aesthetic foundations. Cohorts are deliberately small, taught chair-side by the same practitioners who run the salon floor.
Every Academy graduate has earned the right to call themselves House of Beauty trained. It's the same bar we hold our own team to.

House of Beauty brings together specialists across every discipline — colourists trained in lived-in balayage, lash artists building bespoke sets, aesthetic practitioners qualified to medical standard, and brow technicians shaping to the millimetre. Every team member is hand-picked, House of Beauty trained, and held to the same standard the founder set on day one.
